My first encounter with Buddhism
My first encounter with Buddhism was nothing short of profound. Stepping into the temple at the Grand Palace in Bangkok, I was immediately struck by the mesmerizing sound of monks chanting. It was like nothing I had ever heard before – powerful, resonant, and deeply moving. Outside, a storm raged on, and the rain pounded against the temple walls. But inside, everything was warm, inviting, and divine. The golden statues of Buddha and intricate decorations glimmered, while the orange robes of the monks added a burst of color to the serene setting. It was an unforgettable experience that left me feeling like I had finally found my way home.
